Tony Toca was giving E Double’s new effort some shine on SHADE45 and the verdict is definitely a 180° to the bulk of the culture’s current climate. The Green-Eyed Bandit calls it a Breath Of Fresh Air, as he’s an O.G. rooted in his principles on how to present Hip-Hop music (do-do-do-do-dooo). If you need a little reassurance in your download, just know that Jamie Foxx, 50 Cent, Rick Ross and the entire Def Squad are rolling with Sermon in 2012. Don’t you want to roll with a winner?

Been hearing good things about E-Double’s latest.
Looks more like a compilation then a proper Erick Sermon mixtape but I’m an admitted EPMD stan for life so I’m gonna grab this anyway.
Can’t be worse then that Erick Onassis album.

No-sign rappers named Twon
Holy shit. I was just listening to React too.
“Team Hot”
i fuck with that jimmy hendrix track
Some of the tracks are tight, but it’s mostly filled with sub-par new MCs. Twon and the others are just re-hashes of everything that’s out now. Nothing fresh about them. The solo Sermon joints, the collars with Meth and Red, Keith Murray and KRS-One are pretty damn good though.
