Even though Will.i.am is currently one of music’s most notable figures, it’s not every day he gets to work with Mick Jagger. So, instead of asking his homie Jimmy Iovine to put in another call for the Stones singer, Sky High Willy decided to remix his own #WillPower single, which already featured the big-mouthed Hall Of Famer. Starting off with a slightly-altered guitar melody from The White Stripes “Seven Nation Army,” then working it’s way into some double-time drums, this version is much more dance-friendly than the original, with the addition of house producer Wolfgang Gartner’s golden touch and despite cutting out J-Lo.

And, while I wouldn’t hesitate to shake my tail-feather to this at the club, am I the only one who finds Mick’s cigarette-riddled voice yelling “Go hard or go home” to be the exclamation point of the song?

No wonder Will used it twice.
