Action Bronson’s looking to continue his fervent 2011 momentum well into 2012, as he drops his first track of the new year, “Contemporary Man.” Older heads will recognize the samples that compose Party Supplies’ beat, which incorporates Peter Gabriel, John Cougar Mellencamp, Phil Collins and Lisa Lisa. The ironic choice production doesn’t scream “contemporary,” but it allows Bronselinho to wax poetic over plenty of the 1980s’ most recognizable radio hits.
Check Action’s upcoming project with Party Supplies, Blue Chips, once it drops this February.
