Forget grinding until the gears need grease or selling tapes out of your trunk to get exposure. Apparently, all that’s needed these days to get a hit is being birthed by Beyonce and Ol’ Hovito. But, while most of us have probably already heard Blue Ivy’s feature on her pops’ heartfelt tribute track, you may not know that said song has already cracked Billboard’s Top 100 chart. And, while that’s impressive in itself, the more notable story is that since Pharrell spliced samples of little baby Blue into the beat, the Hip-Hop princess was credited on the song and is now officially the youngest person to ever chart on the prestigious, record sales-monitoring publication.

trying not to hate….but, i’m pretty much over this Jay/Bey/Blue thing….
You’re not going to hear that much about it after the next couple of weeks I’m sure.
Beware, you’re going to burn for the Blue pic. You’re not getting invited to the birthday party. lol.
@DS….
lol. 50 tweeted that pic the day she was born….which is awesome
those photoshopped pics are creepy.
The fact that I’m warming up to the Blue Ivy name is proof that I’m hearing too much about her lol. I made it to halfway of the song before I decided that enough was enough. The media coverage must cease lol.

This song really is perfect though. Jay could put this on iTunes right now and I bet B.I.C. would become the youngest person ever to go platinum lol

Scarily prophetic.
The song is very touching but I just didn’t care for it. I probably won’t hear it again on purpose until I’m reminded of it on year end lists.
