Unless something has changed without my knowledge, Jazmine Sullivan is still on her sabbatical from music. That’s still not stopping the Internet from getting its sticky fingers on the random unreleased track every so often. “My Career,” produced by Salaam Remi, is an interesting listen to say the least. All these years, Jazzy has been looking for a good man, constantly found a man who has led her to busting out his car windows or giving him 10 seconds to live and she finally finds one. But, for whatever reason, things aren’t working out because on said track, she presents the ultimate ultimatum. Almost proudly, she exclaims her career is her number one priority and every other outside influence in her life takes second place – including her man.

Make up your damn mind, Miss Sullivan. Either way though, the song jams and is another welcomed addition to my J.S. folder. She’ll come back to me eventually. I think.
