The first one was good because it was a “dramedy;” they weren’t trying to make you laugh every five minutes, but the movie had well timed jokes and seriousness sprinkled throughout that made the movie gripping and entertaining.
The last two Friday movies tried to hard, and went full comedy. Never go full comedy.
