Statik Selektah knows exactly the talent he possesses and he’s using it help maintain some Population Control as his new album nears its release date of 10.25.11. We are all God’s children but Lecrae actually has made a sturdy career thriving as a Christian rapper and as everyone has surely witnessed, the majority of them suck. Guess who doesn’t?

Backed by Statik’s enlightening jazzy hymns, Lecrae goes for broke, detailing the roses in the concrete jungle’s struggle to rise from out the asphalt and actually bloom into something worthwhile. Positivity breeds prosperity, people.
