For all the positive national press the Motor City has gotten over the past month or so, the city of Cartiers and coneys still has it’s issues. One of them however, is not a lack of dope rappers. As a brand ambassador of both the Olde English D and his local clothing company Burn Rubber, Ro Spit decided to spell out some 313 specifics by breaking out the Rolodex for “Detroit 101.” At around a hundred lines of heroin, these Better Made MCs stomp out Koen Beats’ eerie strings and airy drums like they spoke ill on J Dilla and snapped Matt Stafford’s shoulder. No chorus, just more bars than Greektown.
The rest of Ro’s Glass Ceiling Project will be dropping this Tuesday, so support the man who supports his own.
