Late last week, Vybz Kartel was arrested for weed possession in Kingston, which seemed ungodly strange considering everyone’s perception of Jamaica and the fact that news cameras were around to record such a minor arrest. Initial rumors hinted the reggae star would soon face more serious charges and now he’s been charged with murder. According to reports, Kartel – real name Adijah Palmer – and other men murdered a local promoter, Barrington “Bossie” Burton, on July 11th. The victim was killed while standing with friends in his Gregory Park neighborhood with friends.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place today and Kartel’s lawyer says they’re prepared to fight the charges. Footage of Friday’s arrest follows below.

Dancehall artist are a lot more gullier. Jamaica is smaller so if someone is pretending its gonna be found out faster than the states. Kartel has a lot of bad man friends. But he is not a bad man.
