Tragic news struck today for family and fans of Amy Winehouse who had been fearing for the worst since her untimely death on June 23rd. British coroner Suzanne Greenaway has determined that the embattled singer died from an accidental overdose of the alcohol5x the legal limit to be exact — on a scene where police recovered three bottles of vodka.

Early reports had stated that there were no “illegal drugs” in her system at the time of her death, which is accurate since alcohol is very much legal across the world. However, the tests concluded that Winehouse had 416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, which in most cases, is a fatal amount.
