I suppose it’s finally my turn to step inside the TSS dunking booth and throw myself at the mercy of our readers. But you know what? Bring it on, but also allow me to introduce the Adidas adiPure Trainer.
I’ve been eying this particular style of shoe ever since I first laid eyes on someone wearing a pair of Vibram FiveFingers at the gym a few years back. I was always intrigued at the idea of each of my toes having their own little place to call home, but was always thrown off by owners of the shoe telling me they were dropping $150 and up on them. The price didn’t necessarily throw me off but I couldn’t justify buying them along with all my other shoe purchases.
With Adidas dropping the adiPure Trainer, I may be one step closer to owning this style of shoe. At $90 retail, the price isn’t too outrageous and while Adidas doesn’t always make the best looking shoe cosmetically, they know more than a little bit about making sure they stand up on the technical side. Although the adiPure’s are geared more toward weightlifting than running, I’d still be willing to give them a go. On top of that, I might be able to catch a pair on sale by using a coupon code of some sort.
For anybody who can’t wait or just feeling inspired, the adiPure Trainer is available now at shopadidas and other fine retailers.
