Keepin’ it 100 means we have to give Lupe Fiasco credit for taking the time to address Troy Davis’ dire circumstances last night in front of a large audience at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Between Wasalu’s move here and Big Boi’s Twitter initiative (#TooMuchDoubt), change may not have been affected but more people are now in the know about Davis’ high profile case through rappers’ using the outlets and means available to them.
At the time of this writing, Davis is still set to be executed at 7PM EST tonight.
Update: Troy Davis’ execution is still set to move forward after the Georgia Supreme Court rejected last-ditch pleas and maneuvering by Davis’ lawyers and supporters.

death penalty is inhumane no matter how you spin it. serial rapists and serial killers are one since they proved they dont deserve to live, but a first time felon in a shotty case should not be facing this.
