“Rock-a-bye, baby, rock-a-bye”
Harlem World’s 1999 album The Movement was split between tracks that reflected the polarizing times. For every glittery track on the album, cross-wise there stood a bloody, gutter-dwelling antagonist like “100 Shiesty’s” and the vis-á-vis booth battle of “Pointing Fingers.” Meano’s verses on the album had me believing in dude something awful, word to David D. swearing by rappers.

I’m prolly the biggest Mase mark I know (with the exception of Gotty. On the low, I think G-Mane is from 129th & Convent).
And I still say if he came outta retirement today he’d be a better rapper then 75% of the cats doing it today.
He’s had his Yung Berg moments, but you can’t dispute his talent or his influence on the genre. Mase balanced hardcore & Pop better then any before him & showed Hip-Hop how to get paid & have fun doing it.
My fave line from this joint has to be Loon coming at Meeno.
“You fat fuck, hope you get hit by a mack truck…”
