HHIR’s sample sets are usually auditory in nature, compilations of original songs used on the albums we know and love. But for Rae’s OB4CL, Ivan and co. took a different but very dope approach by gathering all of the movie sources featured in RZA’s production on the 1995 album. Kung Fu flicks and Mafia movies, they’re all in here.

The videos for and Cuban Linx and Liquid Swords were great. I always believed those two albums were Wu-Tang at their best.
This is semi-related, but can anybody tell me the name of the song in the background when Ghostface is explaining dying Clarks? Been wondering this for awhile now.

That was KGB’s “Bless Ya Life.” I had that song on a mixtape, literal cassette tape back in the day. Never thought of getting the MP3 until now.
So thanx lol
Now I wanna watch that whole “Killer” movie man
Anyone know the song playing at the end? Is it on Cuban Linx too? Man that sounds familiar..
The last song is Syl Johnson’s Could I Be Falling in Love it is the sample used for Heaven or Hell.
OB4CL is my second favorite album of all time (first being Illmatic and third being Liquid Swords).
