Rain fell for four consecutive days in Nashville beginning last Sunday. Wind-blowing, sideways rain which ended up totaling well over four inches last I heard. Tony Bennett’s voice defines 1950′s, mafia-type cool. Amy Winehouse’s defines talent combined with equal parts self-destruction. Shorty after her passing, I found out the song the two international superstars did together, “Body And Soul,” would be releasing in studio footage of the two recording their collaboration. As the “Country Shit” remix continues to grow in popularity, Hip-Hop heads all over the country have been waiting for Big K.R.I.T.’s Def Jam debut, Live From The Underground. Sucks to say, but what was supposed to be a September 27th release date has been moved back a few months, now scheduled to touch down at the top of 2012. Read the rest of this entry »

XV has been pretty quiet since dropping Zeros Heroes back in April, only surfacing every so often to remind us that he’s still patiently waiting in the on deck circle. Or should I say anticipating his “Kick.” Read the rest of this entry »
