As much as I appreciate the fact NC spitter J.Capri enlisted Jon Connor for a homage to a certain Marcy mogul’s breakout hit, that’s not the proper angle for sharing this heat rock. In my opinion, these two should’ve just disregarded mentioning Jay altogether and simply held their hat on the fact they both merked one of illest beats to come out in recent memory. Chopped to perfection by Commissioner Gordon and then ripped to shreds by these two rising stars, the menacing production behind “In My Lifetime II” compliments the future of two promising talents, rather than a look back on someone who’s achieved enough in their lifetime to feed Memph Bleek’s whole family tree.
