Pleasant surprise on a college football Saturday. New tunes from Drake titled “Club Paradise” and, according to the OVO camp, there’s “2 more songs coming tonight as well.” More of the usual “mo’ money, mo’ problems” raps but he does it so well, doesn’t he?

Update: Aubrey and 40 bring Rick Ross along for “Free Spirit.” Two down, one to go. The trifecta is now complete as Drizzy hops on Waka’s “Round Of Applause.” Strip club anthem for the fall?

Waka Flocka Feat. Drake – “Round Of Applause (Remix)” (Prod. By Lex Luger)

much better than most of what i’ve been hearing from this guy
Drizzy Drake Rogers once again FTW!!!
i think i like trust issues better.

All I really want to hear a rapper do is rap/sing about is his/her reality. He’s doing a better job than most rappers out there.
Anyway, this sounds like that So Far Gone Drizzy..I’m feelin’ it.
SFG Drake ..TML Drake ..is there really difference > I just think you niggas realized that you can’t hate on him anymore and just gave in. Dude’s quality of music since SFG …>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your favorite rapper. And please don’t say Currensy either.
rather lame…
LOL, Drake’s stance or level of quality has not strayed since he’s been “on.” Varying opinions crack me up.
What TC said.
Ive been that to that spot a few times bad chiks but House of Lancaster down the road is way better
^ That.
*** Correction, I was agreeing with TC and Mr. Tinsley
The guy can’t lose with this honesty and this quality of production. 40 must’ve taken lessons from the gods of engineering.
Fun fact: That strip club is adjacent to a church. haha! This world.
And of course, that Marley bit at the end was well appreciated.
….1 served…but the night is still young.
why is he always talking about “these other rappers”? like who is he always going to war with?
i think Jimmy’s a little paranoid.
Grrrrrr….I don’t wanna like the guy but he’s giving me reason to go back on that.

Never been a hater of the man or his music. imo this song reminds me of SFG. Does this mean that I’m sayin Drake fell off on TML, or he “finally got back to that Drizzy I love on SFG”? No, it means what i wrote.. this song reminds me of that SFG Drake. IMO, SFG is slightly more emo than TML, and this song reminds me of something I would find on that album (along with say Marvin’s Room). On the other hand, Headlines reminds me of a TML track.
SHIT! Mafu*ckers get hella sand in they crotch and emotional over another man’s opinion. Yall startin’ to remind me of that SFG Drizzy..lol
Seriously, that incongruous juxtaposition is really buggin’ me out….. A million words…..
Drake is the The Tony Romo of Hip Hop- this is what you get from him love it or hate it. His success and criticisms are always the same but his still gets it in…
Drake Club Paradise Screwed N Chopped Version Here [www.youtube.com]
This song is not bad, Drake doesn’t make bad records. But I want to see him venture outside of these 40 beats, He talks about growing as an artist but I honestly haven’t seen any “growth” or change (maybe his songwriting skills are better.). Hopefully he proves me wrong with Take Care and the other records tonight.

Drake & Tony Romo have so much in-common it’z NOT even funny… With-That-Said… Do you think Tony listenz to Drizzy on hiz iPod in the locker-room before the game… J/K, LOL ???
fag rap at its best

Word.
This is definitely more SFG then TML.
And that’s a good thing.
Less “Headlines” & more joints like this.
This is quality. He isn’t Andre 3000, but he consistently makes tracks with replay value. Better than the hype machine & bullshit that is Odd Future (other than Frank Ocean).
wackness.

Free Spirit feat. Rick Ross
Made my weekend.
i like these tracks tho :/
Free Spirit>>>Club Paradise
I still got hope that Take Care is gonna be dope but Im just not digging all of the tracks he been releasing…”kanye shrug”
Free Spirit>>>Club Paradise
^^^
I feel the opposite.
“Club Paradise” I could actually hear being on the album. On “Free Spirit”, Ross just doesn’t come off over such subtle production. Wayne woulda been a better fit.
Waka Flocka – Round Of Applause (ft. Drake)
Club Paradise (Lord Knows)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Spirited Away

More like “For the Fail”.
Should I even bother with Waka Flocka Lame?

Actually, sans Drake, it’s not a bad song…taking into account Waka’s “deficiencies”.
Drake adds almost nothing to the remix. He says this is the first Lex Luger track he’s rocked over. Well, it ain’t the right one. I think he could pull a “Forever” performance out on something more typical of Lex. He just sounds lazy & out of his element on this one.
Fuck is up with your ears my nigga?
Each song is something different, and each is good in it’s own right.
Download, make a lil playlist, roll up something exotic, smoke, press play and shut the fuck up.
3 for 3 tbqh
I like Drake, but not enough to ignore wack verses.
And the shit he’s spitting on that Waka joint is just that…shit.
My ears are fine but you might wanna get yours checked.
was that big sean on the waka joint @ 1.18
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Amp is speaking gospel
Dudes want to sugercoat & ignore shit just vibe out & ignore shit. lol nah buddy, he did lukewarm at best on Free Spirit & half singing/half rapping monotone flow will work only so many times.

Honestly, dude sounded bored. Either that or he’s been on that purple Sprite harder then we thought.
Fun fact: That strip club is adjacent to a church. haha! This world.

I wonder which one was built first…hmm
Good shit from the 2011 Bert looking forward to the new album
Love it. But then I’m a Drake fan he has done no wrong to me.

Man I’m so glad somebody said it. Most of the people who hate now…… were the people who hated then. The rest of us have just enjoyed the music for what it is.
Can not believe Drake and Waka in the same song. The best and the worst working on the same track.
Nice ‘Free Willy’ whale sounds on ‘Club Paradise’
oh man 40′s beats > ANYTHING
40 > Drizzy
with a couple exceptions (“Un-thinkable,” “I’m Single”) this 40 dude stays on these ambient “808s”-lite beats with no center. they’re not awful but they kinda drift off. add some harder drums or something, shit. not talking a rough boom-bap sound but just something bigger than these soft drums he always buries under his beats. “I’m on One” (which to be fair he helped on) and “She Will” would be a good example of beats that aren’t that different from his style but hit harder.
though to be fair i guess “Free Spirit” is something different, if not necessarily better.
always found Drake’s flow kinda robotic but to be fair i think he’s improved a little this year. thought he was good on “Dreams Money Can Buy”
fag rap at best
…………..
HAHAHA I kind of agree.
fag rap at best?

how is a man who is probably slaying more pussy than everyone who has commented on this combined branded “fag rap”? its been stated over and over that drake isn’t making music you want him to he is making the music his fans want to hear. anyone who enjoys drake has been going ape shit for this SFG/syrup’d up style he has been back on lately plain and simple.
drake’s been on a roll with these. cant wait for take care.
