Gary, IN and Philadelphia, PA are cities that are both harshly affected by gun violence, drugs and poverty. These are not cities where you live. These are cities where you must survive. Freddie Gibbs welcomes Philly native Freeway to the Midwest as they share their own survival tactics in the visuals for the Beatnick & K-Salaam produced “Anything To Survive.”
The gritty landscape, with overgrown weeds and abandoned factories, tell the story of a city where a man could once feed his family by working with his hands but is now a city of young men moving work hand to hand. Only the fittest of the fit can make it out and the weak settle for crumbs or don’t eat at all.
Oh yeah, Freddie’s Cold Day In Hell cover has been unveiled and its sick business. The album’s set to drop on Halloween. All treats, no tricks.

when i first saw this artwork i was a little meh.. coming back to it now though i actually think it’s pretty dope. and the song’s jammin obviously.
