Last night, Big Sean was arrested in Buffalo and charged with with third-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment after the alleged victim accused Sean and another fellow of getting heavy-handed.

Let’s be sure that we include all the customary uses “allegedly” and “reportedly” while talking about this because Sean’s innocent until proven guilty. But if he did “do it” (too easy), he didn’t have to. I mean he’s got adoring females throwing themselves at him. Plus, the G.O.O.D. rapper smiles so damn much I kind of figured he might be light in the loafers and playing grab ankles with Kanye and Amber back in the day. Hard to imagine him strong-arming a broad.

Sean did release a statement via his lawyer, Scott E. Leemon.

“Last night, recording artists, Sean “Big Sean” Anderson and Willie “Sayitainttone” Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York. Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”

For now, let’s add Buffalo second on the list to the whole state of Colorado as places Black males shouldn’t go without three reputable White people in their posse.
