If you’re oblivious as to the reasons, that’s one thing. But (and no shots) i sure do hate when people act “oblivious” or above the idea that others can get excited or find delight in watching probably one of the top 5 black couples around having a kid.
I’m not over here clicking my heels and sounding a trombone over the shit. But it’s kind of cool to see two people we’ve watched grow come together and now have a kid. Whether we like it or not, they’re like some new Huxtables…but in real life.

The fact that they did it the RIGHT way. Not out of wed-lock & foolishness. Everything they have done together has been a “first time for both” thing. I hate kids with a passion but knowing the child was conceived the RIGHT way, planned & well along into the marriage – makes it a beautiful thing. IMO.

Would you rather the media continue their blogs and news articles about how she might be pregnant, cheating with her bodyguard, copying Rihanna? At least she had control over one of the many personal ongoing of her life. At least she gladly has the opportunity to present her news. At least young girls have a popstar with power to look up to who did it “the right way.” In this instance the message is positive and not some sextape scandal. Just saying. Was that short enough?

These people and couples that are a positive influence and an inspiration to people are important. Especially today with all the unmarried people just fucking and having babies all willy nilly and shit. Plus I want to build a Legacy myself and I applaud anyone else who finds successes in their lifetime and the fact that they can build on that by handing it down to the next generation, especially in the Black community. Hell the Kennedy’s and the Rockefeller’s have done it for years, and so has the royal family, so why not The Throne and The Queen “B”.
