When Watch The Throne, the album, hits iTunes on August 8th, tickets will go on sale for one walloping tour featuring Jay and Kanye as they do 24 shows in support of the release. The musical expedition kicks off September 22 in Detroit and travels to cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston and Atlanta before wrapping up in Boston on November 3. Starting July 28, Live Nation’s website will have access to pre-sale tickets, which includes a digital copy of the album with purchase.
And yes, the album’s release date has been pushed back by one week after originally said to be releasing on August 1. Lastly, the PR says the duo should be referred to as “The Throne.”
Update: Looks like Live Nation has a revised list of the tour dates. Feel free to moan about how your city got left out. Personally, I’m making plans to troop down I-75 South for the Atlanta date.
Update #2: Pre-sale tickets are now available at Live Nation and pre-sale password is “WTT.”

no FL date? GTFOH
^^ There are only 3 and a half (yeah I’m looking at you N. Carolina) dates in the South, Jay and Yezzey know which side there bread is buttered on.
* there was supposed to be an “ir” in that post haha
but if I can’t see my favorite artist in a more intimate setting (House of Blues-esque) then I don’t wanna pay the money
And VA gets the snub. Greensboro????
Oh snap, they’re making a stop in Toronto!
DANG IT! Now I gotta drive to freakin’ Atlanta or Dallas, Smh…Same distance too. Goodbye $200…You’re gone but not forgetten…*cues soft piano music*
for some reason big concerts love Greensboro. Im going for sure thats my area code. Ive still never been to a big arena concert I think this would be a proper first. I just hope they dont charge what I think theyre gonna charge
I saw jay like two years ago when he was promoting BP3, I paid like 60ish for upper level tickets. Unless jay and ye and live nation are feeling charitable, this shit is gonna be expensive.
Greensboro is always on the list for big toura because they continually sell bigger numbers than most arenas. Centrally located to atlanta and dc,and also all of the colleges located there.u have 5 metros within 6 hours. Plus a very strong NY presence. Stop the hate! Jay announced last time he was here that gboro comes out to support.
^That’s because….Greensboro is between Charlotte and the Raleigh-Durham area…so everyone is covered
VA? Facepalm.
Sidenote:Livenation has this concert/social media game sewed up. Employ me.
I’ll be at the Staples Center for that shit. I’ve never seen Jay or Ye live, but seeing them at the same time would be pretty ill
Oct.4 looks interesting…
the chi…yep.
No show at MSG…foh.
The Palace isn’t in Detroit… Just sayin’
Dirk, let’s hit ATL for it!
Saw Yeezy live in Greensboro one year in college. Till this day only the Roots concerts I’ve been to can compete.
Oct. 25 – Dallas, TX – American Airlines Center

Yeeeeeeeah boy!!! *Granddad voice*
HOVEMBER FIRST
awwe snap,
OOOHHHHH *regular show*
see what i did there?!
i kid i kid,
baltimore still booking big dates and they about to tear down the arena and build a new 1!?
I wasn’t hating on gboro and they are in a central location between 2 metro areas. I was just saying that although the 7 cities may not be the sexy choice that we have more than enough interest/population here not evening throwing in the Richmond area to have one a little bit closer.
@JRoc
im thinkin bout it…
Chi-town!!!! LEGGO!!!!!
I love living in SoCal. We always get the major artists to come here.
Paid $600 for 3 tix last time Jay was at staples center.
I’m gonna be there on the first day. His shows are great, I also saw him at the Honda Center in Anaheim for power house last year.
Now and forever, living in the Midwest sucks if you don’t live in Chicago. Oh well, guess I’m traveling.
that houston show sounds bout right…
MSG in NY under renovations… so NJ gets two nights!!! aighttt!!! I’m only 5 minutes away too!!!
Man, i saw Ye at Coachella, and dude killed it. I’ve never seen a live performance as good as that…except for maybe Beyonce. And say what you want, but that bitch brings it every time she throws those heels on!!
More dates are to be added. I think Jay said there would be at least four NY shows.
First and only rap concert I saw was Puff Daddy and the Family World Tour back in high school. Can’t imagine it gets better than that show. Busta cemented a place in my heart…….as Pac Div said, “No Homo.”
The Throne !
Personally, I’m making plans to troop down I-75 South for the Atlanta date.
^
See you there, chief.
Got my tickets for the DC show. I am ready
I saw Kanye when he performed that Heineken show in Brooklyn in June. I now have no qualms about Ohio (especially Cincy and/or Cleveland) being left off. Although we still are the seventh biggest state, you’d guess we’d get at least ONE show. But there’s no sense in bitching.
Gotty,
I got my ticket for the ATL show. I’ll get at you.
