With only a few days left before hitting the big screen, a teaser trailer for Dark Knight Rises lands online. The short clip obviously doesn’t include any spoilers but should increase the anticipation levels by a notch or two for the final film in director Christopher Nolan’s bat-trilogy.
The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters on July 20, 2012.

I got the Avengers trailer up on the blog…don’t know for how long though…Its kinda hard to see but it definitely got me pumped.
That tease trailer was dope. glimaces of a batman/bane fight super dope. It is a shame Nolan is stopping at 3; the Batman mythology is so deep they shouldn’t run out of ideas for sequels to come.
…enough to show what’s gonna go down, but no spolier. nice, no sarcasm. although, it does leave me wanting to view more.

this looks amazing…is bane the villian in this one? It seems kind of an anti climatic villian no? although I don’t know much about bane…can someone enlighten me?

Bane broke Batman’s back, to which Nightwing/Robin took over his duties. Eventually, Wayne healed (of course) and came back, but Batman was legit out of commission (in comic book time) for a while.
I’ve heard that this movie/series could end with Batman being broken, per se, and ending on a low note. I could see that happening, if Robin comes along something, right as the credits are about to roll. Closed/open-cliffhanger-ending.
Nolan said in the past that this series is pre robin so I dont know about that. But catwoman, ra’s al ghul and bane. This should be dope. I hope they pronounce ra’s al ghul name right this time though.

Actually Azrael took over Batman’s duty first…He went alil crazy (long story but Knightfall is a great read) and Batman had to take him down.
Spoiler – I hear Batman gets his spine snapped early on in the flick.
BTW – Just peeped the Avenger teaser trailer.

Didn’t Bale say he’d quit doing these movies if Robin was ever intro’d? That ending with Bane and the Bat… too fuckin’ bad ass !!
Although, I kinda feel like they’re giving up some of the story a bit prematurely. They haven’t even finished filming.
