Batman really makes other super hero movies seem irrelevant.
I’m really worried this summer burst the bubble on comic book movies with all the sub-par efforts. I can’t name any single movie that has had as much riding on it as The Avengers does.
DKR is going to be great though. I just wish Anne Hathaway wasn’t in it.

I can’t wait for the last installement of the Dark Knight Series. Hopefully someone can talk some sense into Nolan to keep the Franchise going.

You need to realize that Batman unlike others is more than just a comic book character, he doesn’t belong to the obnoxious hipster nerd populace that Green lantern, X-men, Spiderman etc. do(not taking anything away from them).
He’s like Superman, the vast majority of fans are regular folks who love his legendary status and how easy he is to relate to due to his upbringing in some mid-western town and his trying hard to be the every-man. Chris Nolan saved Batman from the unrealistic, fantasy world of comic books and made him a semi-plausible character, strengthening his value to the general public.

Nah son, three’s a crowd already, let them lay this awesome beast of a franchise to rest the honorable way and not rape it for more money by adding a fourth.
@HeirBorn- Great would be an overstatement in most people’s opinions. First Class was the strongest of this summer.
@Louis LaFlare- She’s still just an ok actress and an obnoxious person though.
@Cal- I’m not worried about the success of DKR. It will almost certainly outdo the last one. I’m worried about the Avengers and how if it fails how it will affect the perception of the viability and quality of all comic book movies going forward.
The Batmobile? Please, the vehicle is obviously the WayneTech tumbler being used as an assault vehicle by Bane under the employ of the WayneTech character played by Cotillard.
