As the July 26 release date for Follow Me Home approaches tomorrow, TDE’s Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar stopped by Sway’s new morning program on Shade 45 to kick a freestyle over J. Cole’s “Work Out” and drop a plug for the album. For some reason, the Top Dawg doesn’t really seem like the off-the-top personality to me, but he does have his good moments here, especially during the latter end of his verse. Conversely, I’d be more inclined to believe that KDot could hold himself down without breaking a sweat, but he spits a verse that’s rehashed from his “Toca Tuesday” session earlier last week. Dah well, how much can you ask for? Kenny still makes chop suey out of it.

As an extra, the Black Hippy crew is on “Say Wassup,” one of the posse cuts off Follow Me Home. I’d post the video, but it’s total wackness and it makes my camera-loving ass never want to see a fish-eye lens again. The track itself is a solid cipher-like throwback record though.

Completely disagree…that video was pretty good…and kinda hilarious. “Axel Foley!!!”*Kendrick voice*
it probably has to feel pretty awkward for Jay to have to go after KL. Even though this is his was a verse from S80. Speaking of, did you guys through Cigs up for that jwn yet?
@Willie
enh to each their own I guess…most of it was a complete waste of time aside from a couple chuckle-worthy moments IMO
What happened to really freestylin??
