Let me start by saying that if you haven’t checked out XV’s Zero Heroes, you’re missing out. One of the more cohesive and complete projects in recent months, the all-original mixtape is just another freebie that could have been a phenomenal debut for many other MCs. Already moving forward, the newest screening from the Kansas kid who paints pictures with his raps happens to be “Phobia.” Harping about his hesitations, Vizzy vividly vents about the things he’s afraid of over the super-cute Owl-City-meets-Roger Troutman backdrop, brought to listeners in technicolor by his right-hand-man The Awesome Sound.
There are a few things I’m scared of, but more music from this Squarian duo is not one of them.
