Despite being able to pick Ledisi out of a line up and knowing that she’s been holding it down for a minute now, I sadly cannot say that I’m well-versed when it comes to her music. From the sounds and visuals of “Pieces Of Me,” it seems like it’s been my loss. For anyone not satisfied with what currently passes for R&B, it would be in your best interest to get familiar with this now, and if you’re like me use it as your starting point to play catch up.
