My, how things change. About this time two years ago, the then-recently-formed four-headed monster known as Slaughterhouse was going on a rampage, destroying anything they touched. One victim they kept in-house was Joey and Joell’s candid collabo from Ortiz’ Free Agent mixtape, “Move On,” which was reworked to add in the additional two butchers. Different from their typically relentless bars, the fleeting nature of this specific song was meant for the weathered foursome after each been sidestepped by their prior employers.
Hindsight really must be 20/20, because now this collective of microphone fiends is signed with a Top 5 label and has become one of the most sought after groups in Hip-Hop. I’d say they followed through on their word.
Slaughterhouse – “Move On (Remix)”

been waitin for crooked to blow for awhile now
I was living in LA when I first heard this and I always though Crooked absolutely bodies the track. “Every memory under my Dodger hat is a nightmare…”
Joell Ortiz has been diagnosed with Jadakiss syndrome, incredibly talented MC who struggles on his own to make a cohesive album(was diagnosed AFTER Brick Bodega Chronicles)…. Will he be able to find a cure and make a classic LP?
And Crooked Is verse on this track is incredible, when Slaughterhouse first formed he bodied everyone on the early songs…
I remember when I first heard this track. Crooked I verse was monstrous. There was way too many quotables when he was spittin. “I’ve been in these streets longer than Yao Ming’s wingspan/You can be MTV, I’ll be CSPAN”
