we are not technically but an overwhelming number of American citizens and politicians (since they are treated 100% differently than a citizen) in this country really do feel that way. And its disturbing.
and no we aren’t just bombing random civilians actually the its quite the opposite the we aren’t the only targets over there but the news won’t always elaborate for some reason so i will seeing as i’ve been there. sometimes you’ll have locals who work with the police or even try to start a food or clothes drive for displaced people or actually teach something besides islam in the schools and a suicide bomber will walk right up and blow up everybody thats where 90% of the civilian causualties came from over these 10 years smh. we aren’t fighting islam there, we aren’t fighting poor villagers. we fighting a mafia style organization over there with just as much money, techonlogy, and resources to play with as we do and they kill and maim a lot of people. hell i remember a situation they yanked a local dude out his car for trying to keep the taliban out of his neighbor hood and they cut his leg off and left him to die in the street O_o.

you may have been fighting for the right reason, your buddies may have been fighting for the right reason, hell, your entire squad may have been made up of genuine folks doing what they feel is right. I would never knock the individuals who do these things for a living. My point is that as a country we shouldn’t be there.
