We’re just going to keep the party going. Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part Two still commands spins around my iPod these days mainly because it acts as a superb audio and mental masseuse. “Out Of My Mind, Just In Time” in particular garners frequent plays. It’s great zone out music which may or may not be a positive when operating a motor vehicle.

Creative Control and Miss Badu bring the wax vision to life and, given the two parties involved, something out of the ordinary is to be expected. Erykah performs one of those praise-like dances I see every year at Easter when I attend my grandmother’s church. Not that there’s anything wrong with praise dancing though. I love her either way. It’s something about her eccentric personality that’s so damn spellbinding.
