Saigon already picked his poison. His decision to be a torchbearer and flag-waver for the culture is the road less traveled when you only have one shot to make it. That shot may have resulted in thousands of days waiting in limbo, but those who experienced The Greatest Story Never Told know the wait only blessed Hip-Hop with the kind of product that has been lost in this current state of music.

The video for the rock-tinged “Bring Me Down Pt. 2″ depicts the journey as a battlefield, and rightfully so. Keeping your eyes on the prize while holding tight to your beliefs is one that would make most crumble under the pressure in most cases. Saigon avoided the breaking point by finally releasing his debut and thus, conquering over the adversity that was seemingly inevitable.

Salute to the carrier of the guidon and all his future challenges.
