Seeing how Jon Connor’s name has popped up more than enough times on our site alone and I still haven’t pushed play once, I’d say that he’s well overdue for a “Vent Session.” Connor wisely dusted off Kanye’s “Say You Will” – which is the perfect backdrop for rappers willing to do some soul-searching - and went in. Mixing deft wordplay with equal parts of above the board lyrics and subject matter, Jon got my attention. So much so, I’m about to play catch up in the archives and figure out how I didn’t catch him down in Austin, because his street team everywhere.
