Big Booty Judy Jenny slides back from the American Idol judge table long enough to collaborate with freed Weezy. Not that I really care for the song or her upcoming album, Love?, but rarely will the opportunity to post a photo of her pass by this e-desk without me seizing it. She can do no wrong in my eyes, although I’d really prefer she hum or whistle instead of continuing her attempts at singing.

I mean, this broad’s career has been dead for years. It’s like “Weekend At Bernie’s” with label heads manipulating her career’s rigor mortis ridden corpse, trying to convince the world there’s still life in it.
I agree with everything typed thus far (including this – “I’d really prefer she hum or whistle instead of continuing her attempts at singing.”).
It is amazing to me how fans (not the industries) keep those in the public eye relevant. J-Lo has not been able to push any records for years now, got booted from the label, her movie roles are slim to none presently and when she does land one the film tanks. She was done… then AI resuscitated her career. Now the woman is doing advertising, putting out music again, etc. And it is amazing how many females I know who have made her their “idol.” Seriously? She will not push any units or film a box office smash… but she will line her pockets with that American Idol money and endorsements. (Better way to make money anyhow)
Only in America. Cannot hate that. But I can question the women who put her on a pedestal and aspire to be her.
This reeks of suck. I don’t even need to hear it. Funny though, one difference between men & women is that we can love a celebrity chick while acknowledging that her music/films suck. If a woman thinks a guy is attractive, they’ll buy all his music, watch all his flicks at thr theater no matter how lame they may be.
For real tho, who’s the heffa on the cover? That ain’t JLO. That pic look like somebody took a pic Solange and a pic of one the Cheetah Girls and made a Photoshop baby.
On a related note, I had an off the record convo with a PD buddy of mine at a big radio station one year about big acts that suddenly fell off… You know the type of convos—what’s wrong with the industry-dishin-dirt-blah-blah… And J-Los name came up.
I asked dude how somebody so big fell off so quick and my guy said bluntly:
“Label quit quit cuttin checks.”
We went thru a whole list of folk and my guy was like-”got paid… got paid… got paid.”
Dude was half drunk but it he repeated it days later sober with the vow I wouldn’t tell.
J-Lo’s music career got too expensive for her label to bankroll after a while.

So j- ho has to do american idol to pay back the money owed to the record labels to make up for the losses of her albums sales. She is slave artist getting pimped out like all of these artist of today. j lo probably didn’t want to do american idol and she didn’t want to make a video with dirty ass lil wayne. Now i know that some asshole on here is going to say that this is not true. But common sense tells me to look at the history of many other artist.
ll cool j was a slave to def jam for over a decade because of his 13 album deal. And devil ass corprate music elites are the main people behind this form of corprate slavey of the artist of today. These motherfuckers got the artist handing in their souls.
