“N*ggas that I used to hoop with is doin’ triple life…”

I know what you’re thinking. Where is the album? Between now and 11:59 p.m. on the night of December 31, my hopes and prayers are that the single and LP Jermaine has been searching for will have presented itself thus catapulting him into another stratosphere of celebrity. Maybe it’s already completed and the powers that be have yet to deem it ready for release or maybe Cole is still on the hunt. Either way, the wait continues. Do not expect to find “Killers” on the debut album when you purchase it off iTunes. As a self-produced record, it is a cold and menacing account of surviving in a Cole World where killers are the ones who amass the money, power and respect.

This song will find placement on Alex Haldi’s upcoming promotional project The Glorification Of Gangster. The theme of the tape will feature around “crime” with several artists including Cole, Kris Kasanova, Jon Connor, Elite, Rittz, Lyn Charles and more providing soundtracks – mash up remixes, original records and classic covers – showcased around the life on the wrong side of the law. Haldi’s tape will coincide and act in support to his own art exhibition May 12 at New York City’s World Monuments Fund Gallery. Haldi isn’t selfish though. Portions of the work sold will be donated to charity. Remember, sharing is caring, folks.
