North Carolina may be one of the best centralized locales for Hip-Hop. Deep enough to encompass the South’s idealogy but still able to keep up with the lyrical curve, King Mez and his right-hand soundman Khyrsis join forces with DJBooth, Herfection, and Nahright for the proper introduction to King Mez’s talents with The King’s Khryris.
Featuring Thee Tom Hardy, Phontigallo and six tightly-produced beats from the Justus League chevalier, King Mez is eyeing the throne and he doesn’t need to champion swine to get him there. Check him out.

I copped this on a whim the other day. Khrysis beat’s are great and Mez is pretty good on the mic too. Shine has been on repeat for a minute.
TC I love that North Carolina quote. Real true. Plus there’s like 10 hip hop shows a week in most of the major cities here. This EP is so dope. He’s playing near UNC with Yelawolf and Cyhi this weekend I think at Cats Cradle. I love how Phonte ends the song, “trading in the fedora for the fitted” cant wait for that.
