The Big Sean vehicle is rapidly starting to kick into a frenzied, warp speed, gaining momentum and attention as it shoots out of the fanboy crust and into the mainstream music stratosphere. To provide evidence of this torrid trajectory, Scoremore documents what happens when you give the collegiate masses of Austin, Texas, a free show with the D-Town MC and Chiddy Bang’s Xaphoon Jones. Granted the show was free and presenting students with “free” anything produces much the same effect as waving an old steak in front of a wild pack of dogs, but, more appropriately, the Etienne Maurice-directed piece shows that these college kids probably would’ve paid anything to see the GOOD Music spitter take the stage.
The camera work perfectly brings together shots of the frenzied lines awaiting admission and intimately compiled interview/performance footy from the show. Although the video could warrant attention simply on Sean’s insistence for Waka Flocka’s next project name, the most salient aspect of the project is how visibly Sean’s star is rising in the early months of 2011. Rabid crowds emphatically interacting with its passionate stage leader attests to the fact that this is a rapper who is becoming finally famous, presenting an eerie similarity to friend Wiz Khalifa’s buzz blow-up of last year. Sean’s on the precipice of his own super stardom and his recent Chris Brown-assisted single and much awaited debut project will only help in making 2011 the year where he becomes a household name.

Finally Famous over Errythang!
