When LeBron announced that he was taking his talents to South Beach this past summer no one could have imagined that this motley crew formally known as the LeBronaires would go on to make history. Most people assumed that at best the Cavs would hover around .500 and put forth a good effort in vying for the 8th seed. Nope, they had their hearts set on making history & they turned dreams into reality. Too bad it was the wrong side of things.
With just one win since Nov. 27, the Cavaliers now own the league’s single-season mark for consecutive losses and have matched the record for overall losses in a row they previously set over 1981-82 and 1982-83. ESPN
Back when LeBron made his decision I was pretty critical of him leaving Cleveland. Not because I was a major fan of him nor the team, but I always felt that his teammates were better than people gave him credit for. After this abysmal display they’ve put forth for the past couple of months, I think he had every right to leave, if only to prevent long-term shoulder & back injuries. Only God & Ms. Cleo know how much longer this streak will last, but if the likes of Kyrie Irving, Jared Sullinger & Kemba Walker decide to stick around for another year there’s a good bet not wanting to go to Cleveland will be one of their deciding factors.

These guys suck & I am not the least bit surprised.
I feel sorry for Mo Williams & Varejao. They deserve to be on better teams where they actually have a chance at winning a game.
I still think this was done on purpose to make Lebron that much more hated for leaving
I think the streak hits 35

Cold blooded, MZ. LMAO.
Cleveland beats Dallas tonite in an upset.
Yeah. I cant believe there were actually people out there saying this team would be decent without LeBron… I mean do you actually watch basketball?
I figured they’d at least win 35-40 games. And they will not beat Dallas, this streak might go well into March.
Jared Sullinger is the best player in the state.
These dudes still can’t believe Bron Bron left. They really are terrible, which make it very hard to root for them. Byron Scott should find a way to get the fuck out of dodge. I just want them to play the Wizards who have like a 20-something game losing streak on the road
David D…never in life will you actually believe that my Mavericks will lose to the “Like that Bron-Bron? Apparently not’s”
But no lie, I wanted to see them a least contend for an eighth seed, mainly cause I think B. Scott is a hell of a coach…but now? Smh…better go take that Indiana job.
When your 3 best players are Jamison, Mo Will, and Vareajao, you’re looking at 30 wins tops, even if they’re healthy and productive all season.
the cavs shoudld really consider firing everyone
Right after my team(Nets) have the second worst season in NBA history, the Cavs look to take our shine. Oh no, you can have it….you most certainly can have it. :)

The thing people don’t realize about this streak is that this is not last year’s team minus LeBron. No Shaq, Ilgauskas or Delonte. Also, Varejao has been absent for more than half of the streak, along with Parker, Gibson and Mo Williams being in and out of the line-up.
With that said, yes, this team is horrible at the moment. Coach Scott has put his faith in youngsters Eyenga and Harris, starting them, when they should be in the D-League.
We beat the Celtics in our home opener, and started the season 7-9. If we had our team healthy the entire season we’d finish with at least 25 wins.
Lost LBJ, West, Big Z, Shaq.
Then lost Mo Williams, Anderson and Gibson is injured night in and out…. they are basically playing with a JV squad. If they had all their players outside of LeBron, they could at least have a decent yr but they’ve lost too too much.
Now I’m rooting for em to at least win 15 games this season. Shame.
