Well, that does it. History has been made. The collective Hip-Hop blogosphere has just exhausted every known weed-icism and we can all thank Young Khalifa and his merry band of pranksters, Taylor Gang, for this. But the man’s been a music-producing fiend recently and his latest round of visuals for the “Black And Yellow” G-mix doesn’t make writing about the Pittsburgh native without mentioning his favorite pastimes any easier.
So, for the one-millionth time, here’s one form or another of Western Pennsylvania’s adopted anthem. And if you’re tired of it, that’s just too bad. At least your girlfriend and her vodka-slugging friends will enjoy it.

T-Pain is the corniest dude I have ever seen.
Snoop’s jacket deserves its own video.
Weak song that got an even weaker remix?
Now if “In My Car” got a remix then I’ll be satisfied.
T-Pain had the best verse…
Wait, what?
Snoop seems…greasier then usual.
And what the eff is T-Pain rocking?
I hope those shits don’t catch on.
T-Pain had the best verse…
=============================
He quietly killed the “Loving You No More” remix as well.
Teddy Pain trying to show the world his 15 minutes ain’t over & I’m inclined to believe him.
Ever since watching Snoop Dogg on the Kush video I’ve seen him kinda looking older every time he’s in a video.
I hate the new gimmick T-Pain is trying to do, I mean that hat thing he did for his last album was ok, but c’mon what the hell is he wearing?
I thought MF’n Juicy J was gonna have the best verse until T-Pain slithered his way onto the set.
Snoop’s jacket deserves its own video.

Reality show even
Yea I never really been a fan so I was surprised how T-Pain went off on this & Snoop went off on it pretty nicely too! Although T-Pain also surprisingly went off on that Twista track from Adrenaline Rush 2007 pretty nicely a few years ago as well!
T-Pain looks like that nigga from Harry Potter smh. I personally don’t understand how this is the G-Mix, but ehh, what can I say. Dude’s found his lane, but he needs more creative ways to talk about weed. At least with Spitta, his storytelling abilities are getting better, but Khalifa, not so much.
i wish people wouldn’t say that shit about curren$y, the dude is garbage.
At least with Spitta, his storytelling abilities are getting better, but Khalifa, not so much

But at this point, Wiz is making better records with a broader appeal.
Dude is about as versatile as a rapper who predominately raps about weed can be.
Yeah been meaning to ask you all, what can Wiz do that curren$y can’t do, maybe even better? Most songs are about how they smoke all the weed and fuck your girl which is awesome for a minute but gets kinda stale. I feel like curren$y at least strays from the formula occasionaly, is a better rhymer, and drops some truth from time to time. Not tryin to disrespect or hate on anyone, Kush and OJ was undeniable, just my immediate impression.
We all know Curren$y has bars for days. When they get together, they remind me of Kid Cudi and Chip The Ripper. Wiz is Cudi cause he provides the hooks and average but still head noddin’ enough rhymes and Curren$y provides a strong verse with straight bars.
I also think Wiz got the broader appeal cause of his loud personality too, so that’s another good reason and he does have the ability to do mad pop sounding shit.
Wiz can make great hooks and has the song writing ability to make pop music…but honestly are you all comparing artistic integrity between Curren$y and Wiz…
Curren$y Wins…dude is not a weed rapper, he is a Wu-Tang rapper. Which is he raps about what he cares about to an audience who deeply feels his music. Weed may come and go, but curren$y shows is here to stay. Dude been in the game since no limits reign.
I like Wiz music but honestly dude is an “industry rapper”. Look to his first album and mixtapes, Wiz was Ricky Rossing it. Rapping about guns, coke and murder till he got drop from Warner Brother. Then you have the period of techno Wiz (ie. Star Power, say yeah) which got him some buzz but not as mush as he did rapping about weed. Basically, Wiz will rap about anything that gets him attention, instead garnering attention because he raps regardless of the press. I don’t imagine Wiz having a career 5 years from now, cause I don’t buy him as a real artist.
this is Shit.
Wiz fell off after those Prince of the City mixtapes. I wrote the post and still think he can do it much better than what he has been putting out recently.
what can Wiz do that curren$y can’t do
=======
hold a bit of a melody on a hook. honestly, i think that’s the only thing that’s set him apart at this point.
that, and synths. everybody loves synths.
@Fredrich
I think you nailed what really gets me about Wiz: The cynical bandwagon jumping. Whatever sells records, he’ll do. He’s not totally without talent- Star Power is a good tape, Kush and OJ is a good tape but not for Wiz’s verses- but he is more of a businessman than a rapper. He presents product, not necessarily great records.
And the Curren$y vs. Wiz debate…really? Listen to the tracks the two have done together, has Wiz EVER had a better verse than Spitta? Wiz is great on the hook and can flow enough to not get embarrassed, but there’s really no comparison.
