The last time TSS caught up with Bethany Cosentino and company, better known as Best Coast, she and fellow bandmate, Ali Koehler were swapping sativa sticks with The Baby-Faced Killer. That scene was all well and good, but these two can make, you know, actual music–more specifically dropping a music video for their single, “Crazy For You.” Whether you’re into two chicks making catchy, sugary California pop-rock that will rot your teeth or not, the video still has plenty of pus… well, it still has plenty of redeemable qualities that warrants a looksie.

Best Coast was surprisingly one of the first non hip-hop albums I ever bought and I was hooked to that shit for a month. What’s even funnier is that I bought it the same time I bought Freddie Gibbs’s EP. It’s Cali Surf-Pop at it’s finest.
The replay value on the album is great. One of my favorite albums of the past summer/fall.
