I am glad to hear that Saigon has the proper outlook/perspective on Jay-Z “taking” beats. Let us see… Jay owned Baseline (where everything was recorded – before Just bought it), Just and Yeezy [originally] were Roc-A-Fella contract producers… and lastly… he is Jay-Z. When these cats complain(ed) about him “taking” or “stealing” beats from them, I always laughed.
I for one, am glad Sai sees it that way. Jay could HAVE whatever he wanted as it was all his anyway. Bottom line.

Word. Jay is one of the few where the money is not an issue to him (which is why he makes the price so high – and as you pointed out in example with Joe lol). The only other Hip-Hop artist I can think of like that at the moment is Em. I mean… even 50 goes crazy when he gets him on a record and he is Em’s artist.
It is like offering Prince money to be on your record. That dude is going to do you worse than that chick on The View – even if you offer him 10 million lol.

But as bad of an owner Sterling is, Baron Davis has been that bad of a player for the Clippers. Especially when he has the talent to be a terrific player when he wants to; the problem is Davis only wants to be great in a Contract Year.
