– While you’re all listening to an album you’re not supposed to have yet, you should take some time to let J. Cole’s highly-anticipated project get some burn.
– Community is a great show. Here are five reasons why.
– Beware sat down with the Chicago legend Twista to discuss his new album that you should also be jamming right this second.
– Kid CuDi’s sophomore album is a worthy one, and only a slight drop-off from his stellar debut. It’s definitely dope enough for you to want some nifty Man On The Moon posters.
– K-Ci, ladies and gentlemen.
– Finally, we got some new music from the supposedly passed away Michael Jackson and the newly incarcerated and freed Wiz Khalifa and a brand new way to spend moolah baby with Young Money.
Enjoy the weekend.
Boy, I can’t wait for Kanye’s album to drop.

Yea amazing week indeed. Cole world Mixtape
I can’t recall an album ever getting 5 cigs. I think the Rolling Stone review may be right…but I’m putting my bets on 4.5 cigs.
Jay Electronica is throwing the Diamond UP!

Damn… I’ve listened to sooooo much great Hip-Hop thiz week… MY EARZ ARE NOW SWOLLEN… !!!
@Cell That is a genuine shock, did not see that coming. It’s gonna be an interesting union. Jay and Jay elec on the same track already as well, this could be something special…
Victor
Yea it was initially shocking to me too, but when I thought about the Just Blaze bridge I guess I could’ve kinda seen it as a small possibility. At least this will force him to officially drop a album. (Am I being too naive?) Aight, well a mixtape.
Cell
I hadn’t thought of that connection, it makes sense. Diddy must be pissed right about now. Lol I’d be happy with a song tbh the guy’s been ghost since that christopher wallace song.
the 3 Js on a track is gonna be serious.
Maybe it’s because I’m not into hip-hop that much, but can someone tell me what’s the big fuckin’ deal with the new kanye album? All the songs are very self-indulgent and just lazy if you ask me. *shrugs*
Hmm, I gotta get my hands on the Kanye and see if it is that good.

Self-indulgent? Yes. Lazy? Hardly.
Why I am not the biggest Kanye fan, he does a good job @ composing. The “every man” element to his rhymes are what makes enjoy some tracks while simultaneously be disgusted my his character. *shrugs back*

so many new questions:
who has the best verse on “So Appalled”
With all the Illumanati tie ins is Jays verse better on “Run This Town
(Yezzy still murked him)
Rematch time.

^^ i lol’d too. open up with a song that was hot over a decade ago…smh
the album is dope and save the rematch thread for when watch the thrown drops.
Almost any other genre stars and music are appreciated beyond 15 minutes but hip hop. Why is that?
Kanye’s album didn’t disappoint at all… definitely worth the money… I actually like CuDi’s MOTM2 better than MOTM… I still expect a lot more from him though.
KiD CuDi as a feature > CuDi before G.O.O.D. signing > any CuDi album
IMO of course.
J.Cole’s mixtape is…. Wow! Heavy burn. Homey is glowing like Bruce Leroy right now… album ASAP please.
BTW… Jay Electronica signing with Roc Nation…. Dame Dash is doing something wrong. I dunno what, but whatever he’s doing, hopefully it won’t spill over into Curren$y’s cup. Jet’s fool…. (had to say that).

seriously, wtf was that? i think the audience was equally confused.
Nelly was the only artist willing to pay them to perform rather than getting paid
Ye’s album was…interesting to say the least. Didn’t really like it much though. Production was great however.
Ye album is 4 cigs. 4.5 if 1) “Runaway” wasn’t now a year long and 2) Blame Game got replaced with pretty much any of the GOOD friday tracks that didn’t make the cut.
Ross deaded “Devil in a New Dress” which I did not see coming. I have no idea why Raekwon is on “Gorgeous” but that may be the dirtiest beat on an album full of them. And was that J-Ivy (of “Never Let Me Down”) doing the outro track?
Point is, this album has enough to digest for months worth of listens, and is definitely a first-day buy- even if all the covers are ugly as hell.
You know when rappers and DJ Khaled always say their albums are like movies? Well, I think that’s the big deal here…widescreen beats. Very cinematic.
And was that J-Ivy (of “Never Let Me Down”) doing the outro track?
