Stalley’s “Hercules” lives up the billing that the name prompts the mind to envision. The track is the first single off the upcoming long player, Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), which the emcee describes as “Midwest music, with a New York mentality…”. Borrowing from Aaron Neville’s “Hercules” for a foundation, Stalley methodically delivers words paying homage to his Midwest roots and the influences of muscle cars and 808s, no heartbreaks.
