Stalley’s “Hercules” lives up the billing that the name prompts the mind to envision. The track is the first single off the upcoming long player, Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), which the emcee describes as “Midwest music, with a New York mentality…”. Borrowing from Aaron Neville’s “Hercules” for a foundation, Stalley methodically delivers words paying homage to his Midwest roots and the influences of muscle cars and 808s, no heartbreaks. Homie performed the track at A3C and I can firmly attest to the fact that it sounds great both live and now via whatever speakers you prefer to zone out with.
For best results, lean the seat back and let the Ohio native steer your ears. Check the dates for The Good Times Tour for your chance to see it live.

Sidebar – Have I ever rightly shared how much I love Biz’s “A Thing Named Kim” and have the whole Diabolical… album memorized still to this day? Remind me to do that one day soon.

Proper! Ive liked Stalley since first hearing him on Address. I originally thought he was from Philly (long beard).
