Friday, Saturday, who cares? The beauty of G.O.O.D. Fridays lies in the fact they’re works cultivated in short time spans. This morning, Kanye shared a message saying there was one last verse to be laid for “Looking For Trouble.” So what we’re getting is presumably toasty & hot out of the oven.
Keepin’ the description simple, Pusha’s still pushin’ bars, CyHi’s got loads of potential and Big Sean’s finally peaking. But this Cole kid? Still the most anticipated.

Respect: Kanye

100% dopeness
Steel Pulse >>>>> Cam’ron >> This
The most disappointing of the Good Friday songs so far … especially after the Joy last week. Maybe it needs to be mastered but nothing innovative or “whoaahhh!!!” about it.
^ there’s always Timbaland’s new Thursday series lol.
Awwww Hell no …
I might not like this track but Ye delivers more often than not
lol people mad at free music.. say thank you and keep it moving..
@zamora
I ain’t gonna eat a free crap sandwich much less say thanks for it.
Music is always free to listen to. My opinion on the other hand is priceless.
“My opinion on the other hand is priceless.”
Keep telling yourself that sunshine.
On the real though, Cole killed it.
beggers be on that radio dial acting like they getting the good stuff.. lol suckers. I guess you waiting to pay for that lil wayne feature..
Everybody needs to listen to Cyhi Da Prynce’s mixtape Royal Flush, its dope. OK track.
cole is college dropout-era kanye. its kinda weird. like kanye before the trips to japan & paris and models. wish cudder could’ve done the hook
LOl @ the pic
Ragga yu lookin like the odd man out. lol. i dont see nuttin wrong wit this track.
lyrics? check.
beat? check.
CyHi still murderin shit? check.
Quotatables:
“And you dont want no problems on sum math class shit so check the young genius out / fuck the world, bust a nut & let my semen spout” (J. Cole)
“Take off that the givenchy & lets get raunchy i have ya face lookin all capt n crunchy” (Kanye)
“Boy i hope you set the dvr, stackin money face-to-face this shit look like cpr” (Big Sean)
“The audacity, wall brains causalty, bitch have my son before i face that tragedy” (Pusha)
“So i’m runnin thru them suckas boy im lookin like knuckles, look at my knuckles got the hook in cuz niggas was lookin / i took in sum whoopin so trust me dog im good for a scuffle” (Cyhi)
overall that shit was wild.
@ JBreeze
Recycled beat check
Recycled lyrics and concepts check
… and I don’t get Cy-Hi’s flow.
That “fuck the world” line is too close to Lil’ Wayne’s on “No Love” for me to fully appreciate it.
Cole’s flow overall was good but I don’t think the song’s a banger. Ye seemed lazy and I heard Pusha T on that J’can Shower Posse flow before.
To each his own.
Goddawg!
@Ragga
for the recycled lyrics & concepts tht u mentioned. well i wasnt expectin to hear niggas drop knowledge on me & if they used lines from before on this well i mean it is a g.o.o.d. friday..er…saturday track so that alone should tell you enough.
Ye made “take one for the team” for christ’s sake.
The beat? i dont have a problem with it at all cuz if we talkin bout recycled, then pretty much every track you hear currently in hip-hop is recycled.
If you mean Ye flippin the bubble joint Cam had… ehhh *shrugs* still not a big deal to me anyway.
Cy’s flow is pretty much like yelawolf’s in the context that both can be unorthodox, flip it up anytime they choose to, & that ppl have a hard time gettin used to their flows. It took me a minute to fuck wit yela’s flow, and Cyhi’s flow isnt that bad at all.
but different ppl have different tastes.
all i keep hearn is cam talkn shit ovr ths sampl frm purpl haze.
ths shit is mean tho.ye put tht g.o.o.d. ol twist on it.my nigga say soon as i got salad i spent it on dressn/french 2b exact…damnit!
j. cole on a ye beat? yes please.look forward 2more.
kanye got me all n man.i cant evn leav til he drop down…..
“Good Friday” >
It gets better with repeat listens on better speakers … lol
Still prefer The Joy though but this will make the rotation.
& Greed … go suck yuh madda weh di sun don’t shine.
Pretty much
All I gotta say is….Does Big Sean have to say “Westside” on every song?haha I can’t name one in which he doesn’t spout out his hometown.
ohhhh and J.Cole’s got it. Jay-z = Hella smart recruiter. RocNation!
j. cole fucking murked this. end of story.
good fridays are good for hip hop.
J Cole.
Do we know Kanye produced this? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Cole or even Swizz even though it doesn’t sound like him.
“Good Friday” >
===============
What he said.
These things are great platforms for artists needing that look. CyHi, Sean and now J. Cole.
These beats are getting better.
“Ironic you been sleepin’ on the one that you been dreamin’ ’bout”
Cole is a motherfucking MONSTER
Cole is similar to Dropout Kanye only in the “hunger to be great immediately” sense.
Cole’s been beasting, especially of late.
Kanye had a dream he rapped like Cole and woke up with his mouth not working. Damn, fish sticks.
No Charlie Wilson though??? C’mon, Kanye… He’s the cowbell of this here hip-hop sh*t lol
“The Joy” still reigns supreme btw.
classic
Like someone else said, it’s hard to hear anyone else besides Cam over that beat.
Disservice to Cole, though, who killed it.
Big Sean as rapper reminds me of Sir Mix-A-Lot on “Posse Going Broadway”….and yeah, this beat sucks compared to the Cam’Ron joint
Looking For Trouble!
J. Cole+Big Sean+Kanye+Pusha= Greatness and Dopeness
The more exposure he gets, the more Pusha is being exposed as a one note kinda MC.
He needs to fall back until he drops his album cause he’s losing some of his shine in my opinion.
Cole is a beast but we been knew this.
But CyHi?
I’m saying it early, he’s the best rapper on G.O.O.D. Music.
BTW – That Big Sean verse didn’t fit on this track. And I fux wit Sean. He just seemed out of his element. That double time flow wasn’t doing it for me.
But CyHi?
I’m saying it early, he’s the best rapper on G.O.O.D. Music.

*huddls n whisprs 2myslf…..*
uuhhhh ths is undr debate sir…..
uuhhhh ths is undr debate sir…..
===================================
so debate it then.
I’ll just wait till his album drops to say I told you so.
Versatility is key & CyHi has shown he can rap about a number of topics & subject matter & do it convincingly.
I’m your Pushaaaa. “Never let jail turn my shine (Shyne) into Moses”
In a Cyhi Da Prynce related post, you already know what I gotta say: CYHI CYHI, WHAT’S MY NAME!?
Another beautiful verse from the Decatur prince. Overall, this song is sweet as hell, but am I the only one who wants either a non-Pusha song or a song with THE CLIPSE? Where’s Malice to balance shit out?
does any1 have an opinion on whether the Steel Pulse sample was better utilized in Cam’s “Bubble Music” or this? … btw, crazy song … the G.O.O.D. Friday joints are getting better and better.
Bubble Music > This
Cam’s version hit harder IMO & it was produced by Stay Getting Productions.
I know. Never heard of em either.
This track is definitely top-five favorites from G.O.O.D. Fridays thus far. The one-two punch of Sean and Cole was priceless. However, like Gotty said, “Good Friday”>the rest.
Dipset anthem (Sanchez – One in a Million) >> Bubble Music > Looking For Trouble
However, think I’ll appreciate this better when mastered.
fucking retarded track period this is the kanye i want to hear fuck that push what more can u say but ugh chi is ill and its a cole damn world and sean is killing on the low
I dnt kno where all this hate is coming from but Big Sean “finally peaking” is correct if it wasnt for J.Cole going ballistic on this track Sean woulda had the best verse – An they all killed this i mean we have to put this in perspective Kanye puttin out tracks that are songs that are on 90% of peoples albums for free #justsayin
special times.
Christian Dior Denim Flow is my fave GOOD Friday track.
So soulful…
It isn’t fair how much Cole went off on this track & I agree about Big Sean not sounding right with the double time flow on this!
Bubble Music >
The Joy and So Appalled are the best so far in my opinion.
I like CyHi, but can he make a good song? Sideways and a few other songs off Royal Flush were good, but there’s literally five or six songs in the middle of the tape that are pure crap.
J.Cole was on ustream Thursday night and let us hear 2 songs on fridaynight lights…wait til ya’ll hear that and he said 17 songs on the album.
Christian Dior Denim Flow is my fave GOOD Friday track.
So soulful…
======================
Heard that
If y’all get a chance…Please check out [www.datpiff.com]
“Ironic u been sleepin on the one that you been dreamin’ bout”
^ this to anyone who complains about the state of hip-hop…
Ye was extra generous this weekend..G.O.O.D. way to end my weekend
J. Cole > Republican controlled Congress
Christian Dior Denim Flow is my fave GOOD Friday track.
=========================================================
This.
But on the topic at hand, I’m with the general consensus that G.O.O.D. Music > Everything Else Out. This song doesn’t disappoint in the slightest and Cole at the end was a stroke of genius. The kid of course had the best verse out. I’ll say the weakest was CyHi but “weak” is used subjectively seeing as how everyone on this track killed it. I see it as Cole>Ye>Sean>Pusha>CyHi
I like CyHi, but can he make a good song? Sideways and a few other songs off Royal Flush were good, but there’s literally five or six songs in the middle of the tape that are pure crap.
—————————————-
ths is my prob wit cyHi.he had som heat rocks on ther (buncha rounds, hero, hard to explain) its whn he gets all romantic (ala ll cool j) tht he loses me.thers no doubt da kid has talent but im not da female demographic he’s aimn at doin thm songs
I think Seans double time went just fine. In my opinion it’s Cole & Sean had the best verses down. But I agree, Christian Dior denim flow & So Appalled murdered ish.
