The Week That Was: The High Life Edition

By J. Tinsley / 10.16.10

Just like clockwork, it’s another week in the books. Internet been down all week and you’re scratching your neck for a TSS fix? Here’s what you missed.

– There’s no ducking the long arm of the law. Ask T.I. and Biggs.

– Some of your favorite video games deserve to be made into full-fledged rap songs.

Rah Digga and Gucci Mane went under the microscope. Speaking of Brick Squad, Waka’s new video is probably going to boost the crime rate.

– Bobby Cox managed his last game for the Atlanta Braves and Hip-Hop even decided to send him a parting gift.

– The Morehouse article in VIBE had the entire Internet talking earlier this week. This included TSS’ own David D. and his editorial on “The Morehouse Dilemma.”

– As a whole, the BET Hip-Hop Awards were nothing to write home about. The cyphers keep people watching though.

– A decade and a half later, AZ’s Do Or Die still causes a firestorm of debate.

– A3C is in the books. Here’s the documentation to prove it.
