At this point, I don’t know. Dude is showing his lyrical limitations to me. He takes the same things and just rewords them. “I’m the shit like….” “She sucks my dick like…” “I bring it to you like…”
And that Nino line has been done to death. Off the top I can remember Sigel and 50 using the same lines.
Dude skyrocketed with his growth from the Hot Boys to the Carter but it’s now time for him to join us Earthlings and hit the rap cocoon again.

The “bride shoes” line wasn’t bad, IMO. “fly food” was terrible though.

Haha…even the supposed ‘best’ lines are laboured and weak, more often than not they don’t make any sense except on a totally superficial level.
I mean, fair play, he went from being a borderline retard rapper to an average to middling rapper, so he has shown progression but let’s not act like his lyrics stand up to even the most fleeting scrutiny.
In that case I am ahead of my time. I have been tired of him since he peaked, which to me was at the end of 07. I was excited to see him on the tracklisting of the Getback album. But then, I felt that his verse was weak. To me it’s been a downward spiral since; No Ceilings was cool though.
Over-rated. We have heard all of this before.
“Single” still wins and that Nino line is still a gem, that will be used for years to come.Since this was initially an E.P., I can’t fully grade/critique this as an album.(Don’t call me no Wayne stan. haha) Carter 4 is something I/and everybody have been waiting to be released.(it’s been talked about before carter 3 came out. They straight up defied logic) Yes, his similies are getting bland and are starting to lose their effect. However, he is Wayne, the reason why most(97 %) of these young rap cats use such a flow/delivery). So he will always be accepted. Like Hov.(that’s why he considers passing Wayne the torch)

Also im pretty sure Im Single was originally Drakes, but Wayne asked for it when he heard it. Sounds like 40 on the beat.
