I’m starting to run out of words for what to say when Joell & Novel link up. Their talent is undeniable & so is the chemistry these two possess. Miss Info pegged them “the underground’s ‘best of both worlds’” & I think that’s a pretty fitting title. They’ve both managed to carve out their own space while doing music that is somewhat unorthodox compared to what the norm is right now. What’s allowed them to maintain throughout all the ups and downs in their dedication to the grind, so it’s fitting that they flip Gladys & The Pips midnight train as they create another banger for us regular joes.
