They’re such magnetizing figures in music that the only thing we don’t know about the lives Christopher Wallace and Tupac Shakur are the fingers behind the triggers which took them away far too soon. It’s that mystery, however, which will always reserve that mythical status around their names. Yet and still, gapping holes in the lives of the people who referred to them as friends remains obvious each time their names are mentioned.

Anyone familiar with the Pac/Biggie story knows who Shawn Pen is. During the mid-90′s, Pen went by the name Little Shawn and was the rapper 2Pac was going to see at Quad Studios the night of his first shooting in 1994. While his relationship with Afeni’s son deteoriated after that night, Shawn and B.I.G.’s friendship lived on. In similar vein as Jadakiss nearly a year and a half earlier, Pen decided to craft a letter to the man who forever changed the future of Hip-Hop:  B.I.G.’s killer.
