Every few days, there’s adequate quiet time available for me to run through the inbox uninterrupted and yesterday’s winner was Detroit emcee Louie P. Newton. The reasons are few and simple. First, the presentation was well done and the artwork are ill, as that’s Louie’s face worked into the legendary Motown singer’s afro. Furthermore, any song that channels the spirit of the legendary Temptation has to connect on some level. The self-produced number has a slow, smoldering appeal to it that may not change any lives, but it’ll surely help ease you through the day.
