If you’re in NYC for CMJ and need a break from the music, Nike’s hosting “Bo Jackson ALL For One” event. Hell, I’d go to this before I hit the music events mainly because Bo’s one of my favorite athletes of all-time, the Trainer 1.2 is absolutely one of the better shoes Nike’s produced recently and I’m one of those cats who loves to hear the stories © MC Shan. Today, all three elements combine as Bo makes an appearance to celebrate the athletes, designs, and art of the Trainer 1.2 at NTNY.
“Bo Jackson, former dual-sport standout and face of the original training shoe, the Air Trainer 1, will discuss the inspiration behind the latest edition of the Trainer 1.2 Friday, October 22, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Niketown New York with 125 high school athletes and sneaker enthusiasts. CBS sports commentator Gus Johnson will be on hand to emcee the event.
“Fans from around the city have a chance to participate in a Q&A with Bo and purchase one of eleven limited edition sets from the Trainer 1.2 “All for One” pack. Based on inspirations from various artists, the pack includes designs for athletes Bo Jackson, Bryan Clay, Larry Fitzerald, Manny Pacquiao, Adrian Peterson, Troy Polamalu, Albert Pujols, Cristiano Ronaldo, Brandon Roy and Amar’e Stoundemire. Fans who cannot attend will have the opportunity to view the Q&A live on Facebook at facebook.com/usnikefootball.”
More info at the Facebook listed above and more glimpses of the artwork can be see @ Nike’s blog.

Having Gus Johnson emcee the event is worth the price of admition. I bet he goes crazy like he is calling a NCAA game and someone hits a game winning shot at the buzzer. BO knows how to attach himself to dope kicks
haha, i was thinking the same thing about Gus hosting, like “he could make this very interesting” lol.
Bo has arguably the best line of sneakers for any endorsed athlete. None were wack and all were versatile. but like his career, the line is limited. *sigh* Another reason I’m glad they made the SC10′s and 1.2′s b/c they extend the legacy. Costs me more but whatever lol. I’d literally murk any of y’all for a few of those PE’s.

I know when the SC10′s came out I got the White/Orange/Blue ones. Yeah it is ironic his playing career matched the sneaker line.
I finally got those this week and I’m overjoyed lol.
Bo had the Original Cop Speed long before Chris Johnson
Who are you telling, the day the came in I took off the kicks I was wearing and imediately put them on, only to see I wasn’t matching; which made me change my clothes. LOL!!!!
hey, Gus Johnson’s here!
Bigga – I bought the retros when they dropped. the ’10s trump those easily. Comfort factor.
I’d literally murk any of y’all for a few of those PE’s.
