Who knows where Finally Famous 3 will eventually land on the list of 2010′s best mixtapes? It is one of my personal favorites, though. The project rejuvenated my confidence in Big Sean as one of the more promising acts in the game and one deserving of the accolades he’s receiving.
Still, a project isn’t going to market itself and keeping it fresh is a 24/7 responsibility. This is exactly why Detroit’s own hooked up with Decatur Dan to shoot the viral for FF3′s opening track, “Final Hour.” Dan and Sean obviously had grandpappies who believe in the mantra of “work smarter, not harder” since the video consists of footage from a recent show in Atlanta with cameos from Don Cannon, Lil Twist and CyHi Da Prynce.

I do it….
booooooiiiiiiiii!
ALL CAPS 4 DETROIT
Big Sean is Ill, and FF3 was bananas, but this video doesn’t seem like it was too inspired…
Yo I liked the mixtape but I thought he was releasing a version without any DJ cuts.
And I think the footage was dope for the song. Dope concept.
